New About a Bride Designs --- the Summer 2011 Collection

It's the start to "What I Did during My Summer" essay....
So far, I have created 25 new designs for the About a Bride Shimmer & Tulle Collection....going for a slightly more casual look, rather than full out formal/bridal. And YES, even at a cocktail party or with a fabulous summer dress, you can wear a birdcage veil or feathers!
So GO FOR IT, don't be afraid to stand out!

About a Bride has a new blog home. So on that note, welcome! You'll get to know the boutique as the "MUST STOP" Spot for the unique bride...most of the designs, including those of the dresses are from smaller designers (instead of the bigger mass produced companies). Many of the designers, including myself, are artisans, jewelry makers and other like minded individuals. Only in the store, can you find organic bridal dresses with ostrich feathers, wood, shells and hemp fabrics, tutu dresses for your flowergirl and blush pink veils.

This Saturday, February 5th, About a Bride will be at the Niagara Bridal Show, sponsored by Niagara This Week. Located at Club Italia in Niagara Falls, be sure to watch the Fashion Shows as the About a Bride dresses will be featured. This is a great opportunity to really see the dresses in "action"....on a real live person and how they move and just look amazing.

Be sure to visit our booth where there will be a drawings and you can see the dresses up close. You will also get to talk to the owner of About a Bride, Ellen, to discuss your dream dress.

A tip for attending a bridal show: bring pre-printed mailing labels. This will save you a LOT of time at the booths.
